One of the most unusual and ambitious projects in our practice, realized in close cooperation with the Archdiocese of New York. We were tasked with developing an architectural lighting system for the cathedral — a project requiring not only technical precision but a deep artistic approach. A key stage was the creation of a highly detailed 3D model of the building, accounting for the subtlest nuances of light and shadow on the facades. However, during the process it became clear that such expressive architecture cannot be perceived outside its urban context. This led to an expansion of the scope — we recreated a detailed model of the surrounding buildings and prepared a series of high-quality daytime and evening visualizations, which formed the basis for approving the lighting conceptThis visualization highlights the elegance and scale of contemporary urban environments in Gliwice. Careful attention to lighting and materials brings the architectural concept to life, emphasizing a refined vertical rhythm. The approach illustrates how the project integrates with the city skyline and its surroundings.
